This is a lower grade website which is interactive and fun. There are several genres of reading. It utilizes the systematic approach of phonics and phonemic awareness for the lower level readers. I would use this as the free choice activity in my K-2 grade classroom.

Spelling games

Biology is the science of learning about every kind of life, no matter where it is, or how big or small it is. A biologist is a person who studies life, or who studies biology. This site is colorful, simple, and friendly to use. I would use this site to supplement my current biology lessons.

This site contains resources for inquiring student minds. I would use this site as a source of information on space and for research projects for my 4th grade classroom.

This site features free lesson plans, video tutorials, professional development tools, and graphic organizers. I would use this site for small group settings because the work is a little complex. Discussing the content will help students put their minds together and work collaboratively.

Funology is the best place to find things to do. A child can do things by themself or with friends, parents, or anyone. Kids can make things, explore the world, and discover skills. They will use words, numbers, facts, ideas, and objects found around the house. It's one place where they will never be bored! This site would be great for free time or for the child who needs something to spark their interests.

This Science site is full of fun science facts for kids. Learn interesting earth facts, amazing chemistry facts, cool space facts, funny facts about animals and much more. I would use this site to supplement my science lessons.

This is a free interactive games site for kids. The kids adopt a monster and take care of it by solving puzzle games. This a very fun site and the monsters are adorable. I would use this site as a choice time activity for my 3rd grade classroom.

Apples for the Teacher Math for the kids

This site covers a wide range of math topics. It has games for geometry, money, measurement, and the basic facts. It also offers printable worksheets. I would use this as a supplemental work site for grades 2 through 5.

This math site is for the more advanced thinker. The puzzles are challenging and can be used for the students who finish their work before their classmates.

Very cheerful and inviting site. Teaches the basic skills in math. Lots of math questions in more than 1,000 topics, students improve their skills and confidence and always have new challenges to meet. Students can choose the appropriate skill level. This site can be used for students with a wide range math skills. I recommend using this site for independent class time.

This site is for students to practice their basic skills in Math. It has some timed games that are fun and interactive. There are flashcards, worksheets, and homework helpers. This is a good site for students to practice their basic skills on a daily basis.
